Shipping & Returns

Shipping

Walnut Studiolo ships most orders within 1 to 2 business days from its workshop in Nehalem, Oregon. Every shipment includes tracking.

Returns

Walnut Studiolo accepts returns of clean, undamaged items in resellable condition within 30 days of delivery, for an exchange or a refund. Contact Off Trail Market before returning an item so we can coordinate the return.

Return conditions

Custom commissions, made to order and limited edition items, food and personal care items, gift cards, as-is items, monogrammed or laser engraved items, and closeout sales cannot be returned unless there is a serious manufacturing defect. Natural variation in leather is a sign of genuine hide, not a defect.

Return shipping & fees

You cover return shipping. Refunds cover the product value only, not original shipping or gift wrap. In some cases, such as large handle orders, a restocking fee of up to 10% may apply.

Help with your order

Report missing or damaged parts to Off Trail Market within 30 days of delivery, with an unboxing photo or video that shows the issue. For a quality issue or manufacturing defect, Walnut Studiolo provides a postage-paid return label for US addresses.

Walnut Studiolo is a small shop, and you're also welcome to reach them directly through their contact page.

Product guidance

Walnut Studiolo's product descriptions include detailed purchase guidance, and many link to their guides on topics like choosing the right bicycle bar wraps and learning more about their leather. If something you need isn't covered, contact us and we'll get an answer from Walnut Studiolo.

The Off Trail Promise and full return policy

A classic high quality leather belt that doubles as a traveling, on-the-go cribbage board.

Metal eyelets have become expensive and difficult to source and we are currently out of stock. We are now producing non-eyelet versions going forward, which are also more economical to make! See photos for eyelet vs non-eyelet versions.

The hole patterns appear at a glance to be a visual design, but when you lay it on the table, it becomes a 2-lane, 60-point cribbage track.

Pegs are not included with the belt, but they can be served with whatever is on hand: MacGyver matchsticks, toothpicks, or twigs all make perfect pegs on the fly or purchase an extra set of Cribbage Pegs to stash in your pocket.

SIZES

Sizes measured by waist size in inches/centimeters.

To find your size, we recommend you take a belt that fits you well and lay it on a table. Measure from the “bar” where the leather meets the buckle to the hole you always use for buckling (see photos). This measurement corresponds to our belt size measurements below.

If you fall in-between, order a size up:

  • Small (30"-32") / (76-81 cm)
  • Medium (33"-35") / (84-89 cm)
  • Large (36"-38") / (91-97 cm)
  • XL (39"-41") / (99-104 cm)

BUCKLE

Comes with a standard 1.5" buckle, but our buckle can be replaced with your favorite buckle by simply unscrewing the Chicago screws.

DIMENSIONS

1.5" (3.8cm) wide.

MATERIALS

Bridle leather, nickel-plated steel buckle hardware

    THE GAMES COLLECTION

Inspired by the pocket games soldiers carried in WWII, our line of uniquely designed travel games are small enough to be portable and lightweight but large enough to be legible and substantial in the hand. All of our travel games are designed by us and handcrafted in our Oregon workshop.
